| Australian BPO Company, Salmat (ASX:SLM) Expands Presence in RP |
Australian business process outsourcing firm, Salmat, is expanding its Philippine presence by setting up an 800-seat facility at McKinley Hill in Taguig City. This serves as the company's first major investment outside of its home country. The McKinley Hill center will extend existing statement processing services to call center, computer programming, Web content management, data entry and a range of IT-enabled services.

Xerox Corporation completed its acquisition of Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., transforming Xerox into the world's leader in business process and document management. Initially, ACS will be branded ACS, A Xerox Company. It will continue to be led by Lynn Blodgett, who has been elected by the Xerox Board of Directors as an executive vice president of the corporation. Through a combination of services, technology and innovation, the combined company will pursue a $500 billion market focused on document and process management for businesses and governments.

| RP Outsourcing Industry Grows 19% in 2009 |
The call centre and outsourcing industry in the Philippines grew by almost a fifth in 2009 to more than seven billion dollars, an industry official said Monday. The figures appear to cement the country's position as the world's No. 2 call centre and outsourcing market after India, as estimated by analysts last year. The call centre sector alone made five billion dollars in revenues while back office services like accounting earned 1.12 billion dollars.

| Consolidated Communications (NASDAQ:CNSL) To Sell CMR BPO Division To Solix |
Consolidated Communications Holdings Inc. said that it has reached an agreement to sell its Consolidated Market Response or CMR business process outsourcing division to Solix Inc. The company also intends to phase-out its Consolidated Operator Services or COS division by mid-year. The CMR sale is expected to close in the first quarter of 2010, and the COS division will be phased-out over the next few months. The terms of the CMR sale were not disclosed.

| Ness Tech (NASDAQ:NSTC) Wins $11M Outsourcing Contract With Israel's Ministry of Immigrant Absorption |
Ness Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: NSTC and TASE: NSTC), a global provider of IT services and solutions, today announced that it has been awarded a five-year, 42 million Israeli shekel (approximately $11.2 million) outsourcing contract from Israel's Ministry of Immigrant Absorption. The contract includes an option to extend the contract for up to additional five years. Ness won the contract in a public tender published by the Ministry.
